Chico was a character in the mid-70s sitcom
that took place in a garage. He was played by Freddy Prinze
whose untimely suici... make that "accident, while playing with
a loaded gun” was probably due to the fact that he never got out
of that garage and away from working on pylons. If only Pie had
become addicted to motorcycle roads instead of quaaludes, maybe
he wouldn't have been so accident-prone. Granted, this ride can
be a bit sedated during the first third, but once you get into
the terrain conched between the north end of the Sierra Nevada
and Mt Lassen, you'll find enough uplifting Twistiness to
naturally elevate your mood. Because it's not as high as this
nearby topography, the Scenery is over the counter, up-country
forest but it’s still good enough to prevent psychosis. It's
true that Chico's size affects the Remoteness, but only at the
start, so there’s no reason to get depressed. And sure, the
Pavement might not be quite as good as other nearby DHs but both
it and Engineering manage to hold it together for the show. And,
speaking of performers, who da Man? Well, on this DH, you get to
play that role. Loo-king good!
