Ever wondered why DH5 Cleone (Ft Bragg) – Leggett is devoid of traffic? Because it’s all here on DH32. Yes, this beautifully paved, steadily twisting artery through the heavily forested mountains has lots of pullouts and even signs to encourage their use. But there’s always some pylon pilot who has an issue with the fact that while he’s just trying to get there, you’re trying to enjoy the ride. It’s double yellow all the way, so if the flashing high beams don’t work, you may be left with few choices. So why is it the same passing restrictions apply to a Yamaha R1 as a Toyota Echo? Just wondering.
